Where presence becomes possibility.
Our Approach
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation—and it rarely happens through words alone. This work integrates trauma-informed, evidence-based, and experiential approaches to support healing at the level of the nervous system, the body, and lived experience. Whether we are working indoors, outdoors, or alongside equine partners, each session is shaped collaboratively, guided by what feels supportive and sustainable for you.
This is not traditional talk therapy. While conversation plays a role, much of the work happens through experience—through noticing sensations, emotions, patterns, and moments of connection in real time. By slowing down and creating safety in the body, we make space for insight, integration, and meaningful change to emerge.
At the heart of this work is relationship—within yourself, with others, and at times with our equine partners. Sessions are grounded in consent, choice, and respect for your autonomy and inner wisdom. You are never pushed, fixed, or asked to relive experiences before your system is ready. Healing unfolds at your pace.

EMDR supports healing by helping the nervous system gently process experiences that may still feel overwhelming or unresolved. This approach allows insight and integration to unfold without needing to relive the past in detail—creating space for greater regulation, clarity, and presence in daily life.
-
EFT is a body-based practice that combines mindful awareness with gentle tapping to support nervous system regulation. It can help soften emotional intensity, reduce stress, and create a greater sense of calm and choice—offering a practical tool for navigating life’s challenges with more steadiness.
-
IFS honors the understanding that each of us carries many inner parts shaped by our experiences. Through curiosity, compassion, and collaboration, this approach helps build trust within yourself—supporting healing, self-leadership, and deeper connection to your innate wisdom.
-
Equine-assisted psychotherapy invites healing through relationship, presence, and lived experience. Working alongside horses—without riding—offers opportunities to explore patterns of connection, boundaries, and regulation in real time. Horses provide honest, attuned feedback, helping create moments of insight and connection that don’t rely on words.
-
Somatic therapy centers the body as an essential partner in healing. Through mindfulness, gentle movement, and walk-and-talk sessions, we work with the nervous system to cultivate safety, awareness, and connection—supporting integration that feels grounded, accessible, and sustainable.
-
Equid Nexus™ is an integrative, experiential offering weaving together relational, somatic, and equine-assisted approaches supported by an IFS-informed EMDR foundation. Rooted in nervous system regulation and attachment-informed care, this work will support healing through connection, presence, and community.

Thank you for considering our practice as a trusted space for your care—it’s truly an honor to be part of your journey.
Our intention is to provide a seamless, supportive experience from the very beginning, including clear and thoughtful communication around the financial aspects of services. Because counseling is a deeply individualized process, the number of sessions and overall cost can vary, and we’re not always able to predict this in advance. In some cases, services that best support your care may fall outside of insurance coverage, which can result in occasional out-of-pocket expenses.
To support transparency and ease, you’ll find a detailed overview of our financial policies within your intake paperwork. We invite you to review these materials at your own pace so you feel informed, confident, and supported as you begin.
If you have any questions along the way—whether about insurance, billing, or updating your payment information—our third party billing team, iMed Billing and Credentialing LLC is here for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out; we’re always happy to assist and ensure your experience feels smooth, clear, and well cared for. See contact information below.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
As of January 1st, 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You will receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your first appointment. You can also ask for one prior to scheduling a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
We know that insurance can sometimes feel confusing, and we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
As a courtesy, a representative from our billing partner, iMed Billing & Credentialing LLC, can help review your insurance benefits with you. Please keep in mind that the information they provide is an estimate and does not guarantee what your insurance will ultimately cover. If you have an in-network plan, we’re happy to bill your insurance directly.
If you’re using out-of-network benefits, payment will be due at the time of service using the card we keep on file. We’ll provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Because every insurance plan is different, we recommend reaching out to your provider directly with any specific questions about your coverage. They can give you the most accurate details about your benefits.
If you need support at any point, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help and want this process to feel as clear and manageable as possible. iMed Billing & Credentialing LLC contact: Phone: 541-500-8655; Fax: 800-433-1396
